Module ONE: Introduction

Objective

    Discuss why it is important to aspire to professional standards and spirit
    more than ever, now that attacks on journalists are increasing. More
    importantly because responsible journalism not only helps communities
    trust each other but also help them trust media to find a way
    out of conflict.

    Describe that staying safe while performing your duties requires understanding
    the nature of conflict, proper planning and careful coordination with your
    colleagues to minimize harm.
